In September 2025, Prof. Elżbieta Kużelewska spent a month in Los Angeles as a research fellow at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law 🇺🇸, one of the top 15 law schools in the U.S.

During her stay, she explored constitutional law and the right to (not) use the Internet, a topic that is increasingly relevant in our digital age. Her research focused on how U.S. law treats Internet access as part of individual freedom and what insights this might offer for Europe.

Under the guidance of Professor Jordan Barry (Vice Dean for Faculty and Academic Affairs), Prof. Kużelewska benefited from USC Gould’s rich research environment, access to its extensive law library, and discussions with leading experts in constitutional and digital law.

This fellowship, part of the Regional Excellence Initiative, supports her ongoing NCN grant project and future publications, strengthening both her research and international collaboration in the field of law.
